This and HOTD are pretty much even so far for me. LOTR was ahead before, but the latest HOTD episode evened it out.

I can’t believe they spend 700mil for the first season just for us to get the isildur training on a ship , the kids going on a food scavenging , mine collapsing plot line

Compare to hotd which the plot is more intensely episode after another

lotr isnt war after war lol

thats why those sequences in hotd arent hitting for me, i dont really care about the characters yet

High fantasy is plainly long and boring but it pretty to look at

The first 4 chapters outside of galadriel and arondir plotline is truly boring
