    Never understood why celebs for animation was ever needed especially for kid movies.

    Now tbf some celebs have given all time voice acting performances but a kid not gonna give a f*** if Daniel Day Lewis voicing a frog in the next Pixar movie

    its more or less for the parents taking their children right?

    I mean I think it probably does help ticket sales alot and then there's also when helping to get the film made and distributed having a star name attached helps with that

    For sure there's an element of Hollywood gravy train sometimes but if these dudes could put unknowns in and pay them alot less and have confidence the films will still be as successful ofc they'd do it to make more money
