As someone who also read the comic, is this season worth watching? My excitement for the show dies a little each season tbh

Yes. Every season is worth it moving forward. 2 is like the low point for set up. Now with how you're feeling might be because of the animation, otherwise the story is not for you

No the story is for me because I've read the comic and I enjoyed it. The thing is the animation seems to get worse which takes me out of the show and I wanted the opinion of someone who also read the comic and has a higher standard than the ppl who just watches the show

Oh then yeah I guess. I've been enjoying the changes of the story and seeing the characters be animated. I've kinda already accepted this is the best animation/adaptation we'll get with this show lol. Latest episode with conquest fight number 2 was great.

Ep 5 was just going through the motions until they got ambushed. Nothing really creative about the setup and buttoning up Nolans return to earth.

Honestly there really wasn’t anything too creative the entire episode. Space Viltrimite battles are getting redundant or me— and an excuse for lazy fight frames. The finale of Mark v Conquest was sick, but the fight itself wasn’t anything new really. Glad the story progressed, but also not really buying into the outcome/cliff hanger.

As someone who doesn’t read the comic, I actually much preferred episode 4. The world building, characters, fights and animation were 10x more interesting for me. I hardly keep up with any discourse to avoid spoilers, but seeing some reactions to these last 2 episodes proves to me a ton of the fan base is just far too nerded out about this s***.
