Just wait it’s about to get really streamlined and not like a Saturday morning cartoon anymore
Episode 7 was actually stellar
It let us know that the writers/showrunners are aware of how absolutely batshit insane the contrast is of having this grounded human soap-opera drama set against the ultra-violent & alien action.
I had an uneasy feeling watching these Amber scenes throughout the season, seeing how uncompromisingly barbaric Viltrumites can be, and the show’s writers literally addressed this human fragility in the latest episode

and I felt like the donald plotline played out great too, great season

That little smile that (robotic) Donald could muster at the end of the scene.. Even when the show’s animation is kinda spotty, that smile was somewhat impactful to me lmao
Man’s been having an existential crisis and then came to his own realization of why life is worth living, and not only that, he used his experience/realization to save someone.
Perfect payoff for this character’s arc
Ep 7 definitely the best of the bunch but overall s2 lost a lot of the momentum s1 built up IMO. The gap and mid-season break definitely didn't do them any favours.
X-Men 97 has my attention as my favourite animated superhero show rn, but I'm hoping they can stick the landing on this last episode.

One thing that didn't make much sense to me was the fact that it took him so long to discover that he was a cyborg. Like, this guy wasn't surprised by the lack of bodily fluids or even his lack of a p****?
gonna rewatch season tonight
finale bout to be littttt
I figured as much and suppose the comics fans would appreciate the accuracy. As an outsider tho some of those eps dealing with random non plot related opps kinda come off as filler detours
The conflict with his race vs humans is what this season really been missing compared to season 1
It all connects

love the season so far but damn the finale is here already 😭😭
ik they said theyve been animating season 3 in tandem with 2 so hopefully the wait is till like early next year
This pacing got me forgetting cuz it happened ages ago, how tf did Seth Rogen suddenly become ssj 3 level to where he's so much stronger he can tank hits from ppl stronger then omni man?

He came back in the post credits scene of episode 5 which was 2 weeks ago and after the break.
They didn’t really get into detail but Allen’s species gets stronger anytime he comes back from a near death experience. The catch is he has to survive from it. Technically could end up one of the strongest beings in the universe

I assume they handle that organically in the robot suit
yall got the secret mission 😎
I’m not ready for the finale
Just wait until they do a huge cliffhanger unlike Season 1 now that they have Season 3 confirmed.

Gonna need The Boys expeditiously
Damn the season finale dropping tonight
I’ve a feeling it won’t top Season 1’s finale; not that it should, but the stakes seem lower this time. Obviously Debbie and Oliver will turn out fine right? RIGHT???
