It's been awhile but I read the comics so I know that most of this stuff is important but the pacing in the comics was way different. It didn't tackle multiple sub-plots at once. That's the issue I have with this season so far is it's a bit messy with the organization

The first season was like that too imo. A lot of stuff was re-ordered and jumbled together, I don't have a problem with it because I know it all goes somewhere

Like for example, someone in here was complaining last week about Debbie getting so much time in this season, obviously without knowing how important this particular period in the comics is to her development

I think it all just feels messy because we're only just getting to the story. Basically everything up to this point has been background; as this stuff gets fleshed out how we know it will it'll all present more cohesively

I do appreciate that Debby is getting more characterization. I don't remember her getting this much screen time in the comics. I liked it in the first season but now it's a bit much ngl, we don't need to see every little part of Debbie's day. The first season did re-order things but it definitely was not anywhere near as messy as it feels in this season. I'm going to wait for the second part of the season till I give my judgement but yeah..

S*** it's not like we're getting crazy good animation. The Invincible animation isn't that impressive. This promo they released was way better. I'd be understanding if the animation looked like this
