Japan gets threaten by NK nukes as much as USA does lmao & USA also gets threaten by Middle East & China for over 20 years. NK isnt doing s***.

    Didnt read nor see it.

No they dont - not for their country lol. Again relative.

Its a literal fact they have the same living and spending habit as USA in Australia & Japan.

The money conversion isnt 1 to 1 but its the literal same in terms of spending and earning for them in their own country.

They are not broke - they are 1st world as hell and have more than a handful of things better than usa and canada.

Their middle class is the same as our middle class. Luxieries and all.

Its simply wrong both culturally and statistically.

Also money earning sucks ass in USA until youre comfortably middle - middle class.

And of course depending on state.

San Francisco & NY are terrible money earners etc. Where their middle class is literally being "rich" everywhere else in the country.

    Not a good point.

The US is one of the most unstable counties socially at the moment. The democracy is backsliding. Everyone here is mentally ill to some degree. People have a fetish for guns and hurting others. Everyone's lonely due to late stage capitalism. Houses aren't affordable. Anyone under 40 is probably going to see the coastal states drown underwater in the next few decades. AI is going to steal everyone's jobs. Our president is 82 years old. The other choice of leadership is a 2 x indicted, 2 x lost popular vote, and 2 x impeached orange puffball who has an actual cult following. Healthcare is unaffordable. Education is being politically weaponized against the younger generations. Can just keep going on but it's just too depressing.

most of your arguments are hypothetical geopolitical arguments i dont really understand how this translates to the avg person's quality of life

the fundamentals are education, healthcare, infrastructure etc. and to that point most western (or at least anglosphere) countries aren't THAT far apart.

the thread title is fine and agreeable but your replies are pretty bizarre

And America has hella natural disators as well. Its just that America is way way bigger than Japan - so there are certain "safe zones" depending on the disaster yoi dislike the most.

    Not another good point.

I can avoid mid west tornadoes in usa by going to the south but then im facing major earthquakes and hurricanes - then i can avoid that by going west or east but now im facing forest fires and tusnamis etc.

Its a pick your poison thing in usa but they all still suck and we have crazy events of one of them every few years.
