I would’ve agreed like a loooong time ago but Fantano is the biggest music reviewer on earth, he’s the most well known critic there is, basically everyone in North America into music or the internet knows who he is. I don’t rly think it’s that simple tbh I think as a lot of other critics, and every big one in history, they are criticized. And for fantano while most can’t articulate there is a lot about how he judges albums that I have big problems with and I think have been bad for music discourse and criticism in its influence.

im pretty sure that's just a rumour and not actually true, i've heard that it's the reviewer and editor who come up with the score together
