Not sure if you like Birdman but linked back up with the writers for that

I did like it. But I also think it could have been better. Most character fell flat to me.

Cruise, Sandra Huller, Jesse Plemons, John Goodman (!!), Riz Ahmed and Michael Stuhlbarg is such a killer cast

Bardo is a difficult watch, tbh.

    Or rather really niche.

A lot of dream-like scenes and it's mainly all in Spanish, if I remember correctly. While most of the criticism is that it's pretentious and self-indulgent, it is a very personal film. As a result it's very culture-heavy and it's difficult to appreciate/understand if you're not Mexican/Latino.

Reading about it afterwards made me wish I was more in tune with the topics it touched on as I would've appreciated it more.

just go in with the expectation of a mexican Birdman type movie and you'll enjoy it.
