Not really. This fake narrative about people wanting drake to drop some boundary pushing album gotta stop. A lot of us want high energy bangers like 2015 Drake. CLB “bangers” are kinda low energy compared to that

The album trailer along with the way drake was talking about the album (taking his time with it, reflecting more during lockdown) made it seem like he was going to drop his opus. Like all the albums were leading up to this one
But we ended up just getting another drake album

But y'all cant compare to blank and blank year drake you should want 2021 drake whatever that may be. My problem is I just dont see this lasting 3 years. Kendrick will deal with the same issue will his music be dense enough or well crafted enough where people aren't begging for new music in 2 weeks

Sounds like a you problem I don’t dislike the album, I just don’t think it’s anything special compared to his prime (2013-2015) when his s*** was all high energy with dynamic production and no filler
