I had hopes that this album would drop and I would listen to it before my daughter was born and now my little bestie is almost 8 months old
congrats
The bar must be in hell.
Preferences exist . I don’t anyone else that can flow on that track the way he did
He's 1000% rushing it. He's never dropped an album like this before.
maybe he wanted to do something different, this is the first time hes ever approached it this way and I kind of like it tbh
IMO it just seems like he’s that confident that the music will do all the talkin and I’m here for it
That could backfire but credit to him for trying something different, I guess. I like this approach with mixtapes and other side projects more though if only because those are more low-risk.
You think he’s rushing it, or he just wants the music to speak for itself?
Music speak for itself . He could have done more earlier if he wanted to , but he didn’t

Fair. I was a bit surprised by his tact to roll everything out in one week but hey I figured maybe he’s just switching it up a bit..🤷🏻♂️
what are these rumors I'm seeing that all of scary hours 2 and LNCL are gonna be on this and it's gonna be eligible for gold on release
that can't be right, right?
if they're there chances are they'll be bonus tracks

I’m hoping this is the case

Common sense 👆🏾
I’m hoping this is the case
Also i feel like this album has been teased and moved around a lot. The hype is kinda already there . This isn’t some new concept . He had been talking about CLB for a while
Imo what happened was he was planning on doing the traditional rollout. He posted that trailer in October and everything. He tore his ACL got really demotivated and didn’t finish on time. By the time he revisited the album he maybe wanted to refine certain things or change some stuff he wasn’t happy with. He didn’t wanna disappoint everyone by starting a new rollout with a bunch of time left so he just waited until the week of to start again.
That's basically what I was getting at. Obv the hype is there but with a stronger rollout, it would've been dramatically improved. He's probably banking on post-rollout stuff like multiple music vids and maybe an interview or two.
Why I've always liked a good rolllut from him is because he's very lazy with stuff like that. Once this album drops, Drake will move on like he didn't just drop an album. He's done that with all his albums. That's why I was insisting he drop some singles first. It's hard enough getting songs to stick once an album is out but it's even worse for Drake because he's mad lazy. He won't shoot videos or do remixes or anything else to push singles off the album once it's out. That's this whole rollout feels shaky to me.
There are massive expectations to be met and it just feels like he's doing the least to meet them (at least from what I've seen).
Drake had well over a year to plan a rollout but instead did absolutely nothing and is now rushing to put this album out in a week. Smh.
I think you said this at least 100 times in the last 24 hours and i'm not exaggerating.
How is he rushing an album he’s been working on since 2019?
He's rushing it's release. He should have pushed some singles first.

Fair enough.
The only shoe uses for me is it being a 1 week not a 2 week roll out. It’s been pretty obvious for a while he never planned to do a super long roll out
