Papi has no excuse on this one.
Hov’s 7th was the The Black Album.
Kanye’s 7th was YEEZUS.
I consider Papi one of the greatest OAT but this album can’t be another Scorpion or I’m afraid his image will take a pretty massive hit. It won’t be felt right away but it will be considerable.
Good thing he’s dropping a damn CLASSIC……….

Not hearing any songs before the album makes the first listen so much better. In this era, the fans choose the singles anyway via streaming numbers.
Guys like drake don’t have to worry about sales, everyone’s gonna listen. But yeah if he wants to outsell scorpion I guess he needs to put the old singles on it or put fresh ones out before the album.
The numbers game just makes the whole thing feel inauthentic to me. The art should always come first.
