When’s the review embargo drop?

Might have to start playing Fortnite for the very first time

No idea would guess next Monday or Tuesday . I want to know it’s well optimized for pc

Game looks fully worth it and is doing free dlc

I played it last night, cool idea but the map itself is pretty boring. It’s basically just a recap of the first game with some very light platforming

crazy how people are still underestimating remedy even after control, can’t wait to see all the switch ups saying they were hyped the whole time when the reviews start to drop

There are many parts of control that didn't personally hook me . Navigation or feeling of getting lost being one of them but thats more on me and I need to finish it. Alan Wake 1 gets a lot of hate for its gameplay loop of shining on enemy shoot repeat. So the going into the mind and clues as well as everything else has me interested. Reminds me of the best parts of like LA Noire combined with Resident Evil or The Suffering. As long as they land some boss fights as well as other elements to mix it up with some player choice I am very in.

Yeah control definitely isn’t perfect but I think it plays really well to remedy’s strong points, atmosphere, writing and world building. From everything i’ve seen and read about AW2 they’re expanding on that in ways they never have in their previous games, I’m hoping them going with a more linear style with some player choice will help with the bloat feeling that control had in certain areas. Not to mention it’ll probably be the most visually outstanding game to release this year, all the demos have looked incredible.

Its sad that Alan Wake is positioned where it is in a year where people will unfortunately sleep on it. I have 26$ Epic Game Store Credit and likely getting Spider Man 2 on disc to share with friends but I get if people have to decide between sonic, mario, spider man 2, alan wake and more they may put alan wake 2 lower on their list.

I don’t know what they were thinking releasing it in such a busy time of the year, it already probably wasn’t going to sell very well and now they’ve basically put it in a titanfall 2 situation. Hopefully early next year when things start to calm down people can find some time to give it a shot

It's 60$ on psn which is fair compared to most new games that are 70$
on pc 50$ makes sense because new games on pc cost 60$
I bought the deluxe because of future dlc's
