I just got into the PS4 era cause before too broke I only had those Pentium 3 PCs where me and my friends only played San Andreas online or Counter Strike or WoW

This game looks too good to be true man.

I can’t help but be concerned on how it’ll turn out.

Yeah, PS1 games were also expensive back in the day, but the best thing about that system was that the software is CD-based so you were able to burn PS1 games on blank CDs without breaking the bank.

I liked Control alot and the tie in to Alan Wake was cool

I enjoy the Twin Peaks type vibe but I didn't like the og alan wake game

So I'm very interested in this

Control is one of my fave games ever
It was my first Remedy experience, so I didn’t play Alan Wake prior to it, nor did I know there was a crossover between the two. Despite that, I still got chills seeing Alan in Control cus I knew how big of a deal that was (the concept of a shared universe).

We’re literally less than a fortnight away from basically the FOLLOW-UP to Control..
Remedy’s dream project since 2010..
They’re not gonna hold back are they?

• first-ever proper survival-horror game by Remedy
• big budget by Epic Games
• the fact that it’s a sequel so they have to try to surpass the original (and Control to an extent)

I hope its good and not that much reminiscent of Resident Evil 4

i really need to play control i always download play for a bit but im like stuck at this one part so i stop and just delete and repeat

Which part you referring to?

I remember there being this one objective early on in the game, which completely eluded me since I couldn’t even find the location of where I was supposed to go, and the map didn’t help either.. Eventually I did find it (the exact details are foggy to me though).

You think American Nightmare is underrated?
Lowkey I enjoyed that spinoff’s combat more than AW1’s. The repetitive environments are kind of a bummer however.

This feels like one of those “we’ve been building up to this one from the beginning” type of games.

I really hope they pull it off.

@AKA_SB i don’t know the exact part but it’s at the beginning i may just restart the game next time i try and yeah i think It’s underrated or i never see anyone talk about it at all but i’ve always been a huge fan of it and really wish it was remastered too

re: American Nightmare
The combat shotgun in the game is so satisfying; the sound effect & damage impact pack quite a lot of punch. That weapon alone made me appreciate the combat more than AW1’s lol

As for remastering it, yeah it would’ve been nice if they did that and bundled it with the AW1 remaster, but in hindsight, it’s good that they didn’t cus the remaster flopped unfortunately.
The least they could do is update the 360 version on Series X|S with FPS Boost, just like they did for the original 360 version of AW1.

it really sucks this is digital only that’s like the only thing i’m kinda not happy about

but other than that this game is gonna be amazing i can feel it
