The next logical move would be to add at least 40 more shows across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
Ppl who are surprised that Luther is getting 10M streams don’t get that Kendrick and SZA represent two completely different genres and the fans mix really well together.
This could easily be the biggest hiphop tour ever. The main issue is whether SZA has enough stamina and if they’re both down to go all year long.
A collab album during the tour could take them to new heights.
Imagine if the halftime show going forward isn't just a greatest hits show anymore and isused as a piece of art

I mean that’s how it used to be prior to MJ

SZA definitely got the stamina
she did 60+ 3hour shows for a year on tour, now she’s splitting that in half with Dot
t’s wild how Kendrick gets so much unnecessary criticism even from those within hiphop. Kendrick gets judged for everything his outfit, the crowd’s reaction, sound quality, the way he moves on stage etc....They even called it one of the worst SB performances ever lol.
This only happens in hiphop. Look at Katy Perry’s Super Bowl show lol probably the worst ever yet nobody dragged her, compared her numbers or said anything negative after.
I remember when Kendrick was announced for the Halftime show ppl claimed he didn’t deserve it because he wasnt “popular enough” lol. Look at Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi Halftime show in 2017.
Travis’ set was terrible, the crowd was literally dead but no one cared. Maroon's was ever worse. With Kendrick, every step he takes gets dissected how he held the mic, when he smiled, crowd response smh.
Just read that Miley Cyrus might perform next year. Kendrick is way more popular with more hits yet no one will question if she belongs there. It’s always different with Dot/HipHop artists.
Kendrick is held to a different standard than any rapper ever, niggas get on his bumper about the smallest contradictions and then go listen to absolute liars
Niggas be saying Dot not about what he rap then listen to f***ing Future
@brave you were right about the whole invisible antagonistic muse thing, it's what made drake so successful and relatable but when it's an actual person, the biggest rapper of the 2010s, it hit a lil diff. I would not want to be drake right now

When kendrick dont have a muse, his pen was a bit stale, hence some of his features be like... and the whole BP era was him freefalling , it's actually the only reason I think they'll both regret taking it this far, now no more subs
And there definitely was a deeper meaning to what he was doing. That doesnt imply reaching or making s*** up, its literally a fact
theres a limit to everything though
you can look for deeper and deeper meanings the harder/longer you look
at some point it’s reaching and the line is thinner than y’all want to admit

What's wrong with discussing art though? You can say this about any piece of art. People are going to take away things and find meaning that the artist didn't intend. But the discussion is what is beautiful

I never wanna hear this line of argument after all the reaching we got for The Heart Part 6

Where can I find your post on that?

This trend of anti intellectualism surrounding art is sad
Has there ever been a fanbase so offended at the fact people like to look deeper into the words that they say? Like it’s not our fault Drake gives yall the most surface level music imaginable but you don’t need to do this s*** to make yourselves feel better
They get so offended at fans of other artists doing deep dives into lyrics, imagery, meanings, etc because the deepest you can go with Drakes current music is s*** like petty sneak disses where he will name drop a model, club or restaurant
Yeah it’s fine when its clear that the individual you are addressing is in fact part of the group you are talking about but unfortunately I feel like no one does that any more since the dot/drake beef brought about stanning behaviour I aint never seen before.
I always see people on here post about tweet around a Kendrick achievement and someone would say “Oh but remember when yall said Kendrick was gonna sell 700k first week?” It’s just people seeing 1 dumb thing on twitter and then trying to include you in it just to try and insult you. Its dumb as hell
Yeah, there's too many bad faith actors rn lol

What are you talking about, why are you grouping all kendrick fans together cause you saw some tweets. Read what most Kendrick fans are saying here, none of them have made outlandish theories.
And i'll honestly always believe that looking for more meaning and message in art is better than not engaging at all. Anti-intellectualism isnt cool. There's always need for moderation of course to not lose the plot, and you'd find everyone here in agreement with that.
