I really can't with the humble beat
s*** sounds so bad
I wouldn't say it's bad but I never went out my way to play it.
i’ll give the drake stans props, their immense online presence is making it difficult to figure out if people were messing with the performance lmao
From what I'm seeing it's mostly old white people wishing it was Pearl Jam, and people celebrating the Gaza/Sudan flag. Don't really see much discussion about the actual performance
Mixed reactions. I thought it was okay. Great stage design and choreography but the song choice could’ve been better and his mic was too low on the live broadcast
agreed 100% with you
the sound was no good

fr it's the only song i skip on damn. i don't even have it added to my library, s*** is ass
Really wish he did Hey Now. If he was going to do mostly GNX songs why leave out the best one
He was too scared to speak out about gaza and sudan when biden was still in power lol
Kendrick doesn’t care about Sudan or Palestine
SOS is one of the biggest albums of the decade tbf
Apart from Kill Bill her singles do absolutely nothing

Seen alot of people talk about the symbolism from the dancers, to Uncle Sam. To the transitional spoken words bit. Interesting stuff tbh. Apparently the protestor was one of the dancers, cos he dressed the same
gotta say this is probably true, dude doesn't really stand for anything except himself and this vague non-revolutionary idea of blackness. i've been listening to dude since i was like in seventh grade and it's been more and more difficult to reconcile this idea of dude as some kind of transgressive artist when in reality he really does serve to at best kind of critique and at worst validate the liberal establishment. this show is more proof
you can't be revolutionary if you don't stand for anything revolutionary. they gave the dude a pulitzer because it was convenient and served their narrative, nothing more i think. none of this is to take away from the music itself, but if you're recognized to this degree by the powers that be you're probably doing something wrong. that's just how i feel about it these days
i mean this man can't even sign a f***ing petition and publicize it while drake of all people can, let alone the weeknd or the many other musicians who have done more. and yeah i heard mr morale, and i don't care.

And for all the Drake fans saying “he’s making everything about Drake” don’t forget Drake went on a 2 year victory lap for the meek beef. We aren’t even at a full year for NLU

I think she might be a classic example of big in the US but nowhere else

Yeah he was one of the dancers so he had clearance to be there. Really hope he doesn't see any jail time but with today's political climate and because it was Gaza they might really put the hammer on him. He sacrificed his career and potentially his life to put that message on stage. Really can't begin to describe how brave he is
Really wish he did Hey Now. If he was going to do mostly GNX songs why leave out the best one
Imagine hearing “who the f*** I feel like? I feel like joker?”
the protester being one of the dancer is fire ngl
Respect, he must have been nervous as hell. I doubt Kendrick knew that s*** was gonna happen though lmao
I need to know how HUMBLE became one of his biggest songs cause his discography is so much better than that
