all of the repeated narratives and opinions on that site really come off as cynical and pander-y versus what most of the users genuinely think on there, this site can be very circlejerk-y and delusional too, but there isn’t a whole tool that necessarily encourages it like their upvoting system does, if your post is downvoted enough it’s literally hidden from view

Yeah that’s very true. None of these brands are paying us so we don’t have any obligation to protect their intellectual property for them; I think ideally we would move past a point where brands are considered something sacred and impressive and more towards appraising each article of clothing on its own merit of quality
