anybody knows how the outpainting feature in Dall.E works?

yes you select the area you want to outpaint and then you input whatever your image is and where you want to go

if you already generated something with dalle and you want to outpaint it then you select the area you want to outpaint and input the same thing you did the first time

i tried that but it just glues a completly different image to the original one, it doesn't even try to make it seem like it's from the same picture

I think you also have to select a small part of the picture, that's how I did it, I didn't put the square entirely out of the original picture

I used the same prompt everytime

you upload them to imgur or img.bb, copy the link and put a '' ! '' before the link (just make sure the link has the .jpg or .png at the end, if not, try adding it by yourself or get the direct link, like open the image in a new tab and copy the link)

like (without the space between the exclamation mark and the link)
