A little conflicted on this one. I like it way more after sitting on it for a day, but still feel like it didn't click as hard for me as many. 2 absolutely killer performances from Mescal and Frankie Corio, but feels like overall it was more of a concept than it is a movie.

The final dance scene was genuinely moving but feels like the moment came too late for it properly breathe and for me to really feel what it was. Kind of a too little too late thing. But it was a beautiful movie that felt very earnest in the emotions it's trying to explore. It was a meditation on this moment, and meditation isn't always exactly cathartic

Saw this last night and have not stopped thinking about it, most definitely in contention for my favorite movie of the year.
