What are yalls thoughts on After Hours?
I would say that the album is amazing, well worth the wait
Genuinely loved it - also love the nods he did to his earlier projects for us OG fans. I can tell this is really going to grow on me that much more with time too
His worst body of work ever, insane to think this is the same person who made bbtm/ kissland or even starboy , money changes people man, it's so hollow and aimless

Rofl get out of here
I put this in a holy trinity of work alongside Trilogy and Kiss Land but I gotta listen a lot more to fully decide. Definitely exceeded expectations for me, every song is great
F***ING TRASH MAN
these fan boys hyped it up so much and I’m an OG
Only songs I liked were alone again, after hoes, hardest to love, snowchild (amazing song), tears in your eyes,
F***ING SAD MAN
OVERLY PRODUCED ALBUM WHERE YOU CAN BARELY HEAR HIM
FAITH AND LA WOULD HAVE BEEN SOTY IF IT WASNT FOR THE OUTRO SMH
i need a edit of Scared To Live asap because the album version is lacking synths in comparison to the snl version

THANK YOU
exceeded my expectations and might be my favorite album from him off a few full listens.
perfect blend of his pop and more darker sounds and his most cohesive project since Kissland. I loved or at least enjoyed every track

Save your tears was alright but everything else I absolutely loved , will overplay the f*** out of this
Definitely feels like the "spiritual successor" to Kiss Land imo. He has a vision again beyond just firing off some great singles. It's a quality album for the most part.
I do miss some of his old collaborators though. Feels like Daft Punk or a producer coming at it from a funk perspective could have added some groove and thickness to some of the more lightweight synth-pop oriented songs - In Your Eyes is a good example of slight sound that could have been beefier.
But overall I like it. Feels like the Weeknd is firing on all cylinders again.
