“name 30 people who sold more than led zeppelin”

I don’t see the word “bands” in this sentence at all. Are you selectively stupid?

led zeppelin might've plagiarized but they still popularized blues when no one else did and made it better as some of the best musicians at their instruments

so many musicians were pedos during the 1960s and 1970s it's crazy

even your favorite music artists were pedos and you don't even know it

Blues was already popular by the time Led Zepplin hit the scene lol Wasnko need to “popularize”

And that’s their first joint too that original lineup didn’t even hit their stride until the next one imo.

They split up after their third album… reunited 20 years and got even better

just go to google and search for "did led zeppelin popularize blues" and this is the result

"While Led Zeppelin didn't invent the blues, they certainly popularized and transformed it into a more accessible and commercially successful genre, especially through their hard rock and blues-rock style. They reworked blues and folk songs, sometimes crediting the original artists, sometimes not, showcasing a heavy blues influence. "

if you don't agree then you're just being a contrarian just to be different and look cool

I’m sure some of you have seen this doc, follows that whole alternative scene of the late 80s early 90s with focus on Sonic youth, Dinosaur Jr, and some Nirvana I believe. It’s been a while since I watched this full thing.

I’m not saying you all the way wrong because I understand the context of what this means, no disrespect to Zepplin but they did the same thing Elvis, and other white artists did with Blues music. So I mean yeah they made it more “accessible” and “popular” but I mean we know what that means lol

that still doesnt mean anything when it comes to the genre and skillset lol, especially when judged by "outsiders"

you cannot overwrite the actual culture lol
