• dad was a full on US admiral, he was literally at the gulf of tonkin during the gulf of tonkin incident. basically val kilmer from top gun's son lol

• before everything morrison appeared with a notebook of songs that would comprise all of the doors albums. he would never write a single song in his life after they started recording

• in his early life morrison is known to have zero interest in music, performing music, even f***ing seeing music live or listening to it, he was in the film school but still. never played an instrument, never knew how to. never learned to sing. all of his concerts were absolute nonsense. no prior experience in playing music save for some small time concerts with guys from doors. first album ever IMMEDIATELY a classic. composed all the music for that. its all circumstantial but to me its too many funny coincidences
