Smooth brain take. Setup films can still be great. Infinity War for example is a movie that sets up Endgame, but is actually better than Endgame.

nothing happens for like an hr and a half, then the main story im supposed to believe Peter and gwen would tell miles his dad needs to die and expect him to be chill wit that. maybe the other spidermen but how those two. felt forced to me.

yea but it felt dragged out. Spiderverse 1 pacing was perfect.

since this movie is only half a story it felt like they had to drag out Act 1 for like half the film.

yea i'll rewatch this soon and see if im trippin

Viewing Gwen as the main character, which I think the movie wants you to do since it begins and ends with her, it definitely tells a complete story

yeah that was another thing that made the pacing feel off to me. 15 minutes in and no Miles was jus throwing me off, I was like damn where is this nigga at. might feel different on another watch knowing how it's structured though.

I wonder how they're gonna advertise the next movie without spoiling.

He prolly was, but had to keep himself under control plus they had to send Vulture back in one piece

He has fangs that release venom. His eyes are also red because of his advanced sight, in exchange for no Spider sense.
