Literally everything in this film is spelled out like Sesame Street. At least with Parasite you had to work for the deeper levels.

Both are good imo, parasite is more overhyped, it won an Oscar. This movie never attempts to say what it doesn’t show, this movie says and shows the same thing if you can follow that.

I don’t think the two movies are on the same playing field though. Parasite is aimed at an intellectual audience this is a family movie at its core even with the nonsense

The film is great because it is so creative and interesting, that even if some of the themes don't necessarily impact you in a strong way, the presentation makes up for it in pure entertainment value.

Gave me a similar vibe to Sam Esmail’s “Comet” movie but more lightheaded and playful. Both are absolute classics though.
