Saw this tonight, Waymond Wang = W š
A W in Every. F***ing. Timeline.
Love that guy.
the lead performances, visuals and concept are f***ing insane.
but i thought ran a little too long. the ending would've hit harder if they shortened the length. about 70% of the way through i kinda knew where it was going but had to wait for the film to catch up to that point.
was gonna see today but this cold whooping my ass
hope its still at my amc next weekend, took a while to even see it was playing locally
maybe Iāll rewatch alone.
friend I went w was on norcos weed and doing coke throughout the movie and was mad f***inf annoying cause he was getting a headache and just wanted the movie to end
told him not to do coke before the movie started too cause I told him heās hella annoying and ruins movies for me but he a fiend

I feel so privileged I got to see this in a cinema with a packed house. Felt like I was witnessing something really special.
That conversation with Evelyn and Joy at the end had me holding down some deep seated s***. And you could feel the emotion in the room throughout the movie. When Evelynās rock chased after Joyās? S***.
So happy for Michelle Yeoh, sheās been one of the best actresses in the world for a long time and the one time a Hollywood production trusts her with a starring role she knocks that s*** out of the post code. And what a career revival for Ky Huy Quan, when he was in that alleyway on some In The Mood For Love s*** he looked like a superstar.
Canāt wait to watch this at home again but with subs to make sure I didnāt miss anything in the dialogue.
Jamie Lee Curtis did a Torture Rack Backbreaker in this movie. What more could you want?
I haven't altered my brain chemistry enough watching Tik Tok to enjoy this. Give the editor an award though. The butt stuff sequence was hilarious.
Wasn't really f***ing with the plight of the small business owner against the tax man or the false dichotomy drawn between all powerful human agency and nihilism. It's like by insisting all possibilities exist you get to obscure the actual barriers and conditions defining existence that we actually have to manage. If everyone feels like this zoomer girl and this mom maybe it's not millions of isolated personal actions in a spider web of possibilities that just so happen to coincide lol. It's also another love conquers all movie contrasting that intimacy against this epic science fiction type scale which is fine but whatever.
I could've seen past all of that, trust me, but it was just quirky and incessant and abrasive. I respect the craft and execution but it wasn't worth the headache
I love how you try to make this post as intelligent and as nonplussed as possible even though it all boils down to āall the major themes in this movie that was well thought out and presented did nothing for me but I was a big fan of grown men doing Atomic Leg Drops onto buttplugsā.
I mean contrarians loved to s*** on Parasite too.
Contrarians trying way too hard to act like something isn't actually a big deal when it is are just as annoying as (if not more annoying than) the people who stan something they genuinely love.
Thereās only one reason people would compare this movie to Parasite and Iām confronting their asses on it every time they try that s***.
Brother you lied I held the whole theater up now theyāre mad at me
Lights didnāt come up when my screening ended and I already googled and found out there was no mid/post credits scenes but I didnāt have the heart to tell them as I dipped out.

I mean the movie is painstakingly edited and intensely crafted. The plot and tone are sporadic. Its themes, by contrast, are pretty universal and broadly sentimental. That's a good dynamic for something this expansive. I think I actually did touch on some ideology present in the film and critiqued it. I was not emotionally invested in it mainly because the aesthetic numbed me. The humor still came through though. It's a fun and funny movie.
I'm happy you enjoyed a movie. Good for you. No need to be upset.
