That’s fair I got dark knight a lil above because joker and 2 face better . Riddler penguin started strong and liked Gotham then kind of lost me with riddler some . Reeves Batman needed to figure just a little bit more out on his own / less work with cop or crime scene moments . A lot I liked about it

Yea for me it’s easily the dark knight and then Logan. After that it’s up in the air but even MCU films like GOTG, Endgame, Infinity, Panther I enjoyed wayyyy more than The Batman

That drab s*** was an emo blade runner, doesn’t hold a candle to the ambition and true atmosphere and lived in world of timeless gothic awe that was Burton’s Gotham

Spider-Verse has the greatest story and character journey that’s the closest to perfect in Marvel’s cinematic history thus far. Its reversals, execution of themes, sequential buildup, and setups and payoffs are unmatched

Literally only a select few superhero films period are firing off on all cylinders as strongly. The Dark Knight is one for example…yeah I said it, Spider-Verse is on the same level as The Dark Knight if you’re gonna rebuttal with anything regarding tone just save it, I’m talking about meat and potatoes of storytelling

Him being an orphan who wants to flood and kill other orphans defeats the entire purpose of first half of film . As does recruiting a bunch of white men to shoot the black mayor and the maga vibes on twitch parody . Like for some of beginning it was a well constructed villain who was smart and not just crazy or evil then they gave up
