The rumor is that WB would be happy with a $500M floor, which it will almost certainly get even if it doesn’t go much beyond that. But I think the reception is much more important than the box office (assuming it hits that floor, but even if it falls slightly short.)

Restoring faith in this universe and these characters is vital. And while I do think Superman faces a unique problem in some markets that other superheroes and future movies won’t, the reception is going to be pretty invaluable when it comes to the digital/streaming release.

My next viewing gonna be in 3D I think. Probably will be this upcoming weekend cause of work.
