It's a solid film, but man, they really made Kal-El look like a punk getting his ass whopped the entire movie/the pacing was CRAZY, they coulda let certain things marinate.
That being said, I really liked the Justice Gang/that morphin nigga.

The ScientistI like it, but I wanted to love it. This movie is incredibly chaotic. There is so much going on: a lot of characters, DC lore, the zany comic book sci-if concepts, and the structure feels a little too uneven. The Gunn humor just doesn’t work at times. But holy f*** there are some individual elements that are absolutely incredible.
This is the tone I wanted. Gunn understands the character of Superman much better than Zack Snyder. David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult are all fantastic. There’s so much to like, but I wanted to LOVE it. I’m giving it a rewatch this afternoon.
