A girl I know went out of her way to post her 1.5 star LBX review on her story

got out of the film a few hours ago and it took me awhile to gather my thoughts.

when I heard this film was in the making, I made it a goal of mine to read a few Superman comics that looked interesting to me, including Secret Identity and For All Seasons, the latter being one of the inspirations for this film. they were able to translate the pages of a comic book to screen almost flawlessly. Corenswet and Brosnahan were born to play their respective roles; they absolutely crushed it in their performances. Hoult was also on ten and gave the best Lex performance I’ve ever seen. a true generational hater. the other heroes were a treat to see as well, with my favorite being Mr. Terrific. I would LOVE more Mr. Terrific, be it in a feature film or television show. this was also one of the best looking CBM I’ve seen in awhile as well. the colors were popping and the action scenes were shot very fast paced. the score was also a nice complement to the film and really elevated certain scenes. overall, this is a giant step in the right direction for DC and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.
