@FREE we won so f***in hard goat
I can't believe it
Very hard @antidote @FREE @superstar
This was wow
Glad you enjoyed it man we have to break it down when we get moment
Can’t wait brother
Gunn couldn’t help himself and had to do an action scene to a licensed song
And it was the sickest s*** ever
This is mostly because they did an amazing job with the marketing and marketed the hell out of it.
I just saw it last night. It’s a good movie, I didn’t love it though. As a breath of fresh air for DC on screen and a reintroduction for the character to general audiences, it definitely succeeds. It’s also probably the most faithful comic book to live action we’ve ever seen.
But I did have some issues with it. The pacing, for one. The film moved at a breakneck speed the entire way through and I would’ve appreciated some more scenes to just let the characters breathe for a minute. The farm scene was great but I was hoping we got a few more of those throughout the movie.
My next issue isn’t really a gripe with this movie particularly but moreso with cinematographer Henry Braham’s style: I’m not really a fan of how he films action. This is now his fourth comic book film in which I didn’t like the way the action was filmed: The Suicide Squad, Guardians 3, The Flash, and now this.
My last major gripe was the third act. It felt too weightless, it was just flying and punching and crashing into objects; there was no real tension for me in the final battle whatsoever.
But the characters were written well, the acting performances are all great, and visually this film is amazing to look at. I also LOVED the statement they make on Israel. Good on Gunn and DC for having the balls to do that in a film this big.
I’d give it a solid 7/10.
The marketing deff played a part but at some point brand recognition gotta come into play too lol
But yea we have the same gripes with the movie. I think David & Hoults chemistry as Superman and Lex and the sincerity of the movie is what elevates this to an 8 for me
Yea I thought niggas we’re overhyping the Israel comparison but it fr is pretty blatant
Bro it was too blatant idc what nobody says.
Even if it wasn’t intentional it becomes a Night Of The Living Dead where the coincidence becomes too much to ignore

Why would you want more of the farm scenes
just watch smallville then
Probably my fav character with Terrific & Superman ofc
Dont forget krypto
Why would you want more of the farm scenes
just watch smallville then
Not more scenes specifically on the farm, but more scenes in which the movie breathes for a moment as is seen in the scene on the farm
Currently otw to the theatre
Was genuinely getting scooby doo 2 vibes at the start. In a positive way. When the prime minister of Bovaria was doing really broad cartoon acting to the news and stuff. And when the hammer of bovaria was like ‘superman! I’ve come for you!’
I can’t even remember solidly what parts of scooby doo 2 it was reminding me of but I watched it so much as a kid, some parts were giving me subconscious aura flashbacks.
Did a good Superman movie really make @KnightmareLeague leave
They told me it wouldn’t beat MoS’s BO even without inflation
