superman legacy a weakass title

Superman has been missing for weeks. Darkseid captured himbrainwashes Superman to conquer earth "for Darkseid and the glory of apokolyps"
The army is ready to kill Superman and Supergirl. After waking up after being captured by the government Superman leaves earth with the intent to kill Darkseid. Which is why it was on sight in JLU.
After beating Darkseid he throws him down so that the slaves can do whatever they want with him. He realized the people are actively choosing to serve Darkseid and he can't save them.
He goes back to earth where people fear him and no longer trust him. He asks Lois how can he get their trust back and she says "one person at a time"
And the show ends like that

Superman wanted to kill darkseid but still showed restraint but him vowing to kill more people after Dan Turpin really pissed him off
Superman again wanted to kill him. Was willing to die in order to kill him but Batman stopped him
Edit I misread. In the cartoon Superman left darkseid with his slaves thinking they would finish it. He was shook when they helped him up. Then Supergirl comes to retrieve him.
The show ends right after.
Darkseid stayed away from earth until jlu.
