and also yeah snyder really does have trouble grasping super heroes, Watchmen wasn't a disaster but framing rorschach as a hero is kinda misguided.

And then trying to delete hope from his DC cinematic universe was equally misguided.

And it's all the little details too like in BVS when they pull up dead robin's suit (which robin? who cares he just wants to show you one died) and the suit says "HAHAHA Jokes On You Batman" it couldn't just be HA HA HA which wouldve conveyed the information in a normal and fine way instead it's just that extra bit that makes it clunky and stupid. and that critique could be extended to his entire attempt at a cinematic universe
