I did care about him watching MoS and BvS but that was a different take that the fans don't like
Superman has always been extremely dull to me. Then made uninteresting to me the way he's so overpowered. However, it can still be done well depending on the story that's being told. All-Star Superman is the prime example. Which is fortunately inspiration for this movie, so I have my hopes.
