This first trailer is going to be the first true look that we’ll have of the DCU, so there’s a lot weighing on how well this trailer will set the tone and build hype for the rest of the universe

I think the trailer will deliver, but it also depends if this is going to be just a short “teaser trailer” or if it’s a full length trailer

I can see a lot of "this looks just like Guardians and suicide squad" complaints coming when the trailer drops

Cinematography is about to be more make or break than ever

I literally just need day time stuff. Bright blue sky and if possible, a big corn field. Kansas corn country farm stuff with a blue sky. If we get that I’m happy

Also close second wish is a retro futuristic metropolis. Don’t need to go all the way but would love the architecture to be subtly art deco ish. Arkham Knight weirdly did that very well. Modern billboards and sky scrapers but also rooted in animated series type 20s/30s futuristic style

They gotta tease us in and build hype for additional trailers and eventual marketing run. Too much too early might hurt later. This is a film that actually has to get people in seats early because F4 is gonna slash its premium screens and take box office after 2 weeks

Think film itself will deliver but its marketing needs to be carefully planned so that this can be the true start of convincing fans to see DC universe films again.

I donno how I feel about this. During Creature Commandos press run Gunn said they are still working on the Brave and the Bold script. So it doesn't make sense for this to also happen.
