Just going back to why I loved All-Star Superman, that distinction between Clark and Kal is so important. While yes they still have similar moral codes and ethics, it's how they present themselves and act among friends and family where the differences really shine. Whereas Superman is seen as perfect, confident, and loves the spotlight, there's humble and modest Clark who doesn't attract or demand too much attention. And comes off as oafish most times, but has a charm that makes him friendly. Like the average joe pretty much.

This scene from the animated movie really highlights the difference between the two very well. Especially since it's coming from Lex who can't even tell the difference between the two despite frequently interacting with both on many occasions
