Which is inherently bad. It goes against moviemaking. Why James Gunn is stoking the flames of fan entitlement is such a money grab fan service desperate move. He is totally cashing in. I’m sure the movie will break records when it does come out. Keep the fans pleased during the ride and they’ll enter the theaters in droves and leave happy bc they are so invested into the thought of it being great.

This. I feel like a lot of fans get beside themselves and forget that the product isn't being made to please them. The creators are telling a story and you(the fan) just so happen to like it. Talking about "they owe us"

If we talking about a Black Clark Kent I still would've liked to see Brandon P Bell or even a newer face with darker features

tru it was pointless but could have easily been redeemed in a sequel where he has to make a similar choice and realizes his dad was wrong that day and he should have just saved him anyways, giving supes more character development

Gunn has been very open about his love for the Donner Superman films, this film will absolutely be a brighter film than Snyder’s films

they shouldn't and won't. don't worry. James Gunn has made it a point to make well-written stories that are unique in their direction and a great representation of what makes DC so much more interesting that what the MCU has brought forward, especially in recent years.

you seen the guardians movies? more so guardians 3? cause it def is coming across as though James has a strong passion for Superman and how it ties into his own personal life as a person who is looked at as an outsider within this industry / world

I'm not the biggest fan of Peacemaker, or The Suicide Squad, but I trust him with this for some strong reason. His mind and heart are in this and I fully expect this movie to be tonally serious with the usual comedy that doesn't detract from the story but more so enhances it
