I didn't watch the trailers. I've read the books and watched the OG show multiple times. Not really interested in any of the new stuff. Had no clue this would be a half hour comedy though

This honestly sounds boring..

Are people still interested in the GoT universe? Feels like after the disasterous GoT finale and lukewarm reception of HotD season 2 + massive gap between seasons, the culture has kinda moved on from that world...

Personally I’m still very interested. George wrote a lot of great stories and lore and I’ll always be excited to see them adapted

Culture may have moved on, but there’s for sure still a fanbase for it . Which is why there’s already a season 2 for this show that’s been ordered, and more spinoffs planned

The source material’s pretty good. This could end up being something fun and fresh for the franchise
