I feel that format works best when there's some mysteries to theorize over the week (Twin Peaks, Wandavision, Fallout) but this show is pretty straightforward. I just want to see my boys succeed.

Don’t go into expecting GOT or HOTD scale. It’s just a small, little contained story with no real impact on the bigger picture.

It’s only 30 minute episodes too so it’s not like you gotta invest a lot of time to it.

Honestly, baffling how good GoT was, even smaller moments like the clip above had so much weight and significance. Like top, top tier writing.

The fact that this show is also really good so far just proves how much GRRM’s hand is crucial in their success. As soon as he’s out, they fall off of a cliff (last two GoT seasons, HOTD S2).
I hope he remains on board for S2 of this, cause this is quickly becoming one of my fav shows on TV right now.
