No I shouldn’t be entitled to an even share lmao, that’s ridiculous. I don’t own the company, I didn’t take a risk investing in the company, I didn’t think of the idea that created the company, I didn’t contribute anything except labor, and I’ve already made an agreement with the company that I’ll be compensated with X amount of dollars per hour for my labor, I’ve done nothing to deserve anything more than that.

You could die tomorrow and your employer could find someone to replace you the same day. If you aren’t bringing any rare, unique skills to the table then you aren’t worth anything above what the market value of your labor goes for. Why do you deserve a larger share than the contract you agreed to? Because you’re a good guy and you work hard? There’s a billion people out there that are better guys and will work harder than you for the same wages.
