What does that mean exactly?
look up how marginal tax works. 62% is still way to high tho
You’re the one doing the labor, you should be entitled to an even share of the profits
No I shouldn’t be entitled to an even share lmao, that’s ridiculous. I don’t own the company, I didn’t take a risk investing in the company, I didn’t think of the idea that created the company, I didn’t contribute anything except labor, and I’ve already made an agreement with the company that I’ll be compensated with X amount of dollars per hour for my labor, I’ve done nothing to deserve anything more than that.

"Even share"... No.
I didnt get permits, i didnt take out a massive loan to start the company.
A larger share tho, since these places would fall apart without us?.. now we're talking.
as long as it helps people id be fine with it
but it's america so our taxes do not help us in any way whatsoever
so that is why we hate taxes
Gotta love it
Yeah let's pretend that has nothing to do with the pandemic
It has EVERYTHING to do with the pandemic. Have you been reading my posts? One of my first points was that in a post-corona market s*** will not work the same way and no f***in way is companies going to be clamoring to be in an objectively worse market.
Look im done, you aint chaning i aint changing good night bro
Ktt capitalists vs ktt socialists itt
I’m just watching chaos ensue like
How?
If the mega rich arent going to pay it anyway, and now smaller businesses are being taxed into oblivion
Edit: misread, didnt see the word housing.
Housing market needs help
No, I’m a working class person, what did I do to earn their money? Nothing. Why do I deserve their money? I don’t.
I understand your sentiment that it's difficult to trust our government to actually use the money we are taxed for good reasons. When a s*** ton of our tax money is going to an already trillion dollar military industrial complex it's hard to justify paying more in taxes.
Ideally if the wealth was actually properly redistributed to lower income and working class jobs paid more I think we would be in a much better place, and people would actually understand why taxes are important. Right now I can't justify paying more since Trump has spent $100 mil + in our tax money in Mar-A-Lago

Poor wording on my part, the ceo should be making more than employees but not at the ridiculous disparity it is now. So yes, you deserve a larger share.

Definitely not an even share, but enough to live comfortably + have enough money for basic health care if the place you're working doesn't already provide it.
Does jeff bezos make 400k a year?
Stop talking about amazon
He said these companies see no investment in these cities if they’re too high, which is factually incorrect
Working for a Big N company means that starting salaries are usually $125k + bonus + stocks in place of high cost of living
You usually don’t see that in other places in the US because the cost of living isn’t so high
Talent can afford to live near or even in these cities because companies have to pay them a great salary
They go to other countries mostly because labor is a lot cheaper, but the talent pool is a lot smaller compared to the US

That i can get behind.
It shouldnt be 75% to the ceo, 20% to employees, and 5% tossed between countries to avoid taxes.
If I’m broke
What does that make you
Nigga I already know I'm broke, just don't pretend you not down here with me

Ur partly right... If everyone wants their goods made in china, we need to lower our quality expectations.
But thats exactly what the mega rich will do with ridiculous tax rates like that.
One comes, half go

Now tell me, how many of that "top tier talent" is going to work at one company?
What does that have to do with companies
Rich people as always interested in themselves and that’s it.
Higher tax for him will not hit the same as even a lot lower taxes for those less fortunate.
Glad my state has the most educated people and no matter if our governor is republican or Democratic we stay on top.
