It's effective at producing elite prospects who were/are already elite. It's basically just the best prospects going off. There is no development, zero coaching, very low level play calling, it's just not on par with European academies as far as player development goes
Bro this isn’t true lmao
bro have u ever had a double cheeseburger or a Qp w Chz w big mac sauce?
for burgers there it’s either McDouble or Big Mac I never get quarter pounders
for burgers there it’s either McDouble or Big Mac I never get quarter pounders
damn well try big mac sauce on the Doub Chz Brger
too fire
Isn’t college where they learn what they’re missing. It’s hard to not to cater to stars when they’re the most talented and physically gifted than the other kids. European players are probably more rounded at a younger age, but I feel like that goes away once players go through college.
Yeah college basketball is the best developmental system that we have just based off of coaching and access to top tier facilities
Not really cause any worthwhile American player spends like 6 months practicing at college
I’m not speaking on stars though, ima talking about the kids who aren’t stars
Saying Team USA is struggling this year because of fundamentals is just bad basketball a***ysis
lets goo ! be careful please
they need to be careful of me
but not actually ty :D
I’m not speaking on stars though, ima talking about the kids who aren’t stars
Fair
I imagine it’s better than what AAU is offering tho
Saying Team USA is struggling this year because of fundamentals is just bad basketball a***ysis
Tbh that’s like the last reason
Who was it itt that made me eat bread with milk in here??? That s*** was gross asf

sounds like a @wellpaidOG delicacy lol
Bro this isn’t true lmao
It is true, but whether it's true or not doesn't even matter because Cuban's comment is dumb as hell for prioritizing "fundamentals" when fundamentals aren't close to the most important thing in basketball anymore

Don’t think anyone actually believes that it’s jus funny to be having this Us vs Europe development during an Olympics where the US is underperforming to all these teams

name me 3 current stars/superstars that aren’t fundamentally sound
Which is precisely why AAU shouldn't be getting so much slander. Fundamentals can only take you so far
Agreed if you a hooper you will always find a way to get past all that fundamentals and ball changed a lot now compared to back then. Now we got 7 footers playing like a guard and kyrie asking for post touches and 4 post ups a game
