UnityDevelops to what though? How many professional players does it produce? Even D1 college? All of the big names at the EYBL tournament were already known before the tournament even started
A ton of players at every level come from playing AAU at some point in their lives lmao. EYBL isnât the only places these top players have played, and there are non top prospects trying to literally development that we just donât care about.

Yeah I'm pretty sure damn near every American NBA player played AAU at some point, but my point is how many of those guys were already highly ranked prospects beforehand and how much did AAU contribute to their development as players?

Aug 3, 2021¡2 repliesUnityIt's effective at producing elite prospects who were/are already elite. It's basically just the best prospects going off. There is no development, zero coaching, very low level play calling, it's just not on par with European academies as far as player development goes
Isnât college where they learn what theyâre missing. Itâs hard to not to cater to stars when theyâre the most talented and physically gifted than the other kids. European players are probably more rounded at a younger age, but I feel like that goes away once players go through college.
