Idk but in my college there are people CONSTANTLY pestering students about if they’re registered to vote and signing them up for it. Yet that doesn’t seem to be working either so not much else to do

where’d you have to go to vote (if you live in a college town)? did you have to drive somewhere extra or was it like within walking distance? i went to college in a city so i just took the bus everywhere but i’m genuinely curious how voting gets done in these littler towns since i’ve always lived in a city

i saw they only had one station between Fargo and some other big city in ND though which is just crazy to me. only super fans (and boomers) are willing to stand outside in line for hours in freezing temperatures to vote, especially if they have any sort of schedule to maintain

quick thought, how do we think extending primaries in each state over the course of 3 days instead of one would effect turnout overall, youth and elderly ? it’s always old ppl working the stations anyone so it’s not like they got full schedules

But if I voted on the day of the election, theres a church real close to my house so distance isn’t a problem. Also to answer the question I think extending the voting date over 3 days could be an interesting idea but idk if the system can take it. Part of me feels like every state should just have a primary on the same day or something to give more time for the party to rally behind a candidate, and to avoid people from being discouraged because their top choice seems unrealistic after the first few states results come in.
