It's crazy, I have to verify my race online because I'm not a communist/socialist but because I'm the average black voter who aligns with the party that has the largest black american voting block.

That's why I have Mamba blocked. Literal s***poster

Bro... you didn’t have to do this

It's w.e, Idrc. It's the 2nd time, I've done that due to the same poster.

There are a lot of dudes on KTT who actually are probably white who LARP as black people. So, it doesn't really bother me to assuage the concerns of those individuals

Blackface online has become a common problem and people are rightfully concerned about it. Better to make sure people at least feel comfortable posting on a Kanye West forum

I was and still do support Bernie and wish he was the nominee instead of Biden. But all the Bernie Bros on here that are talking s*** on Kunta are the reason why Biden won instead of Bernie.

Hopefully progressives realize next time that being a douche/asshole to other people for their views is how you lose (in the Democratic Party at least. It's not that way in the GOP )

  • May 18, 2020

In other news, I've been way too busy/distracted with pandemic s*** that I haven't at all been paying attention to General Election polling...and holy s*** Dems are f***ing destroying the GOP right now across the board. Obviously a LOT can change between now and then (even more than ever because of the virus), but this is super good news for them.

Especially for Biden. To be doing as well as he is doing in both national polling AND state polling when you're going against an incumbent and it's May is incredible. He's extremely competitive in NC, FL, WI, and MI rn. Trump's going to have massive trouble putting up a fight if this is how it is in October. Especially if the virus is still not going well.

People had the same attitude in 2016, and then want to act shocked that the establishment doesn’t like to work with them. Bernie already has a reputation as a difficult man to work with and his supporters and some of his staffing choices really hammered that home.

What proof do you have that Bernie is difficult to work with? Bernie has been praised from both sides...from Rand Paul to Elizabeth Warren. Bernie being difficult to work with is lies.

Well what do you want me to say when 99% of politicians agree on passing legislation that f***s all of us over, lol? Bernie wouldn't be Bernie if he cosigned the establishment all the time. Dude would be a no-name politician who we'd all say needs to get his old ass out of office.

Never said Bernie should cosign the establishment. Point is, from a public policy perspective, it's difficult to work with him. Dems would rather have trump than bernie for that reason.

From a public policy perspective he ISN'T difficult to work with. Why is it that Bernie Sanders is nicknamed the "Amendment King"? That very title entails that he is able to be productive and get things done all while being criticized by both democrats and republicans. He's been able to pass more amendments in congress than anybody while still being the most progressive member in the Senate.

if you read the article this was their first time purchasing stock in any of those companies. It’s obvious Pelosi’s husband or whoever knew wfh tech was going to get a boost from covid outbreak. criminal? probably not and they’re likely well connected anyway without a politicians plug. still very sketchy just in principle for house majority chair or any politician to have that network. Looking at Pelosi’s career what makes you give her the benefit of the doubt that this doesn’t influence her as a politician?

yup anyone in congress shouldn't be able to have family members or a financial advisors making trades for them for any reason, if they want to invest they should have to buy etfs at the start of their term and they can't sell them till they get out of office

congress controls the money supply and can easily help certain companies and they get info far before the general public about what is going to happen

anyone saying this isn't an obvious problem is uninformed or drinking the koolaid/spin

I doubt that’s why people didn’t like Bernie.

Bernie bro’s can use that same logic as to why they won’t vote for biden

There are people being toxic in every group of supporters, but none close to the scope of Bernie’s.

It’s something that he had to personally address.

You’d have a hard time even finding a group that passionate about Biden tbh

Disagree tbh. I think there are a lot of women (my mom is one I personally know of) who found the rhetoric coming from Bernie's camp to be very off-putting.

I agree with you that there are definitely Bernie supporters who feel the same way about Biden, but I think they are a much smaller group of voters comparatively. At the end of the day, the vast majority of the DNC Primary electorate is not hyper progressive Bernie Bros. It's generally very moderate and also generally very "establishment". So putting all of your focus on your "base" and not extending olive branches out to people outside your camp is not sound strategy.
