Here’s a micro example
I worked for a pool company as a teenager
This guy had club Dolphins tickets
He also had tickets in the regular 100s that he marked up and sold on the secondary market to pay for his club tickets
You could say this is smart, sure, “why not do that?”
but it’s also pretty scummy if you think about it the other way.
how it takes that opportunity away from someone who could’ve afforded those tickets at regular value but is now unavailable because this guy is using them to fund a higher tier of ticket himself, because he has the capital to do that.
Now imagine this on a 10000th times bigger scale and you’ll realize this is all F U T I L E.
“Why not do that?” the game is the game, it’s up to us to play it.

they don't have the best offense of all time, they've come out hot and motivated to start the season (especially PG) and other teams didn't, it's all gonna even out. a team like the lakers could blow that point differential stat out of the water but they don't because they don't play seriously for about 25-30 minutes, not the case with the clippers.
the problem with them losing focus and blowing leads is that it's the exact problem that they had last year. this team on paper should be favorite or second favorite but they're not all there mentally and while that can cut it in the regular season, when it comes to the offs it's a quick way to choke
Nah i've literally watched every game this season from them. Multiple times lol
I'm not saying they have the best offense of all time. They've been incredibly hot from 3. Regression is coming. But they're generating incredibly easy shots from their playmakers (PG and Kawhi) and they were the 2nd best offense in basketball last year.
The Lakers "not playing seriously" aint got s*** to do with anything i'm saying. You're saying they looking rough which literally makes no sense. How can they be looking rough if they've been insanely efficient and generating open shots? How? Lol
You're also lumping last season with this season when half of the rotation is new, along with a brand new coaching staff. Last year's pandemic induced bubble doesn't hold much weight to what's happening right now.

You can get a 3 bedroom home in Florida for the same price you're living above a Chinese restaurant in NYC/long island
