The chimpanzee point is very true and you're on point in general but I think there's too much of a focus on strength in this conversation

Assuming that the 100 are dedicated despite any initial casualties the sheer number of people should allow someone / some people to gouge the gorilla's eyes out and it becomes a lot easier from there

Even if some of the men managed to blind the gorilla (prolly at the cost of their own lives) it wouldn’t make much of a difference imo. A blind gorilla is still a powerhouse of muscle, instinct, and aggression. The moment that mf hears movement or feels the slightest touch, it’ll lash out with full force. And it won’t need precision, just a single wild swing could incapacitate or kill.

Meanwhile, our punches and kicks wouldnt do s***. Human strength simply doesn’t compare.

So I like this theory but I’d swap 1 for 2

You should start with the series of runners first and then have small waves of the Vince Wilforks attack

Important to note that you’d virtually be sacrificing these first two waves to inflict initial damage and to gas the gorilla
