How do you think we got here in 2024 if the least evolved of us didn't know how to take down 1 animal
is this even a real question?
is this even a real question?
No its Hella rhetorical
i think all it takes is 30 men distracting ( taking the worst of the beating) and the remaining 70 taking precise hits at the eye and other critical points
also some percentage of those men will be swole anyways it won’t all be skinny guys

Aye man, a Gorillas fist is as big(if not bigger)as most dudes heads. Add in the fact that full grown, healthy Gorilla is probably surprisingly fast for its size and your f***ed. 100 Mike Tyson’s would have problems with a Gorilla bro

Saying some of the guys will be swole is like saying if you’re fighting 100 toddlers, that some of them will be in kindergarten
If that first 15 knowingly goes to their death then it might work. if everybody wants to stay alive that gorilla will get them one by one
How about 2 Silverbacks and 2 Grizzlies vs 25 people
I think that is better
You are insane
speaking of psychological, the other 95 men are running away for their lives afte the gorilla breaks open the first 5 like shrimp
Exactly my point. There acting like any humans would just willingly sacrifice their life to be mauled by a gorilla. Like imagine people seeing them sharp ass teeth and being like yea I want that issue
Speaking of this topic one time this dude from congo told me they would hunt and eat gorillas when their was no food
Depends on the leader.
A smart team of humans would have different responsibilities assigned to different teams too. You don't need 100 folks attacking 1 damn animal. You'll have people for setting, trapping, forcing the opponent to move, second and third lines of defense etc.
Everyone has a job and is supported by their team, so there's no one to just abandon their post. And of course, a good leader will know that not everyone will be as effective in some areas as they might be in other areas.
How would you stand around calmly discussing a plan with 100 people while a 6ft 500lb gorilla is charging at you faster than any of you can run
My bad I didn’t see this is from a year ago
The parameters around this battle make all the difference
Are both the gorilla and humans bloodlusted?
Do the humans have any sense of morale?
Any prep for the humans?
In any case, humans have two advantages over every creature in the animal kingdom: endurance and intelligence
In an endurance scenario, it becomes a battle of attrition. the gorilla will naturally tire out due to its abundance of red muscle aka fast twitch fibers. It’s not built to go the distance with a species that can literally run day long marathons. By the time the gorilla is tired out there is still a pack of humans readily available to punish it
In an intelligence scenario, the humans can make the battle quick by literally dogpiling the gorilla and suffocating/overheating it. There would be a lot sacrifices but the casualties would in turn drown the gorilla in their blood/waste. Another factor (if morale is not a factor) is that the humans can break off the bones of the dead and use it to pierce the flesh of the gorilla
Unless morale is a factor and the option of flight is available for humans, there are several paths to victory for humanity, can’t say the same for the poor ape
Gorilla's can lift 1800 pounds, bite strength is 1300 psi and their skeleton is 3x denser than ours. Wouldn't even feel those punches

nah you right it don’t matter the first 25-40 people are dying with a couple swings and the adrenaline from the gorilla gonna only intensify it’s over
you only need 5
bottom line/final word from me:
I think 100 men who are organized and willing to fight would win easily. some would get bashed, a few killed, a bunch more injured. but the 100 men would win without doubt.
when you talk about taking 100 random men, who aren't big nor strong nor trained fighters, and you throw them in a room without any strategy nor collaboration in advance.... the gorilla definitely has a good shot. I still think the men would tend to get their s*** together and win, because 100 is a lot of waves of men. but if u don't give the men time to align their plans, it becomes a questionable outcome.
