This one is such a creeper too because I was initially not that impressed but it’s probably my most played track now
Only major gripe with the acoustic version is that Anyway isn't actually acoustic and is essentially a snippet so not sure why he included that lol
Slicked back is special
how does he keep doing it
what country artists do you recommend? I really got into the genre last year
Tucker Wetmore's debut album from last year is really great. Excellent example of well crafted pop and ballads, and when taken as a whole it follows a general narrative. If you listen start to finish then let it repeat back into the first track, the narrative becomes a clear (and sad) addiction cycle.
First time i accidentally let the album loop and i heard the final lines of the last song lead into the first song, i was like "ohhhh okay i see you Tucker"
i still gotta catch up on the loosies he dropped in the last year or so

River washed hair and song for you are really great
Surprised Fantano hasn't released a review of this yet (not that his opinion holds that much weight with me but I know he's enjoyed and reviewed his last few)
I’m sure the acoustic version is great but I love the music on a lot of these songs I couldn’t imagine listening to it without the instruments

certain ones I dig the acoustic more on and others I prefer the studio version...just feel like his vocals get drowned out a bit on some of the studio album versions compared to how clear he sounds on the acoustic

I can see that but I’d listen to the instrumentals on their own for some of these songs
hear me out...zach bryan x mark kozelek
I would LOVE that. Mark dropped a great album last year too
