He’s not really country tho. More Americana/heartland. He does have country moments though.

Ktt Sleeping on country. A lot of talented artists out right now.

Jason isbell is really the only artist who scratches the same itch as zach for me

Kiely Connell (great debut) she’s more bluesy but it works

Turnpike Troubadours is a great introduction to red dirt (north Texas/oklahoma) sound. Their debut is a classic in the country genre

Lot of people love sturgill Simpson. Even critics

I personally love koe wetzel despite the fact that his albums are underwhelming.

There’s also Emily Scott Robinson, Cody jinks, treaty oak revival, Mike and the moonpies. Different sounds for all just depends on you want.
