Country was basically just created as Scottish/Irish folk music + southern accent + rural themes + blues chords anyway so..kinda makes sense

I keep thinking how this is much closer to the Americana/bluegrass/folk stuff I like than anything country that I’ve heard in the mainstream in years… but at the same time, there’s no way this isn’t country. And I kind of love that. He’s yanking the genre back to its roots at a time when the s***tiest forms of it (pop country with Morgan, conservative pandering with Jason Aldean and Oliver Anthony) are the easy route to success.

hopefully a lot of others can follow too, i think the environment is right for zach's og tyler childers upcoming album to do really well for how 'pure' of an artist he is
