He scrapped collections worth of (subjectively, great) work to sporadically hyperfixate on the colour black and bring in demna for a small capsule... then expected shirts to be $20 with the addition of Balenciaga?
How do you expect GAP to develop dedicated Yeezy GAP stores when there's no real collection to fill the stores with? They've scrapped roughly 1.5 years of development to start again with a third party. He should have at least released a real Yeezy GAP collection before expecting more development from GAP's side.
Granted, there might be a lot from behind the scenes with the balance of ye's expectation of quality vs price points but this just sucks to see for everybody who expected great things from this partnership.
great point, plus the og stuff circa 2020 actually fit into gap's wheelhouse as far as identity goes, they're probably unwilling to change their entire corporate identity to the donda aesthetic knowing that ye will prob switch up his style in 2 years anyway

Yeah the article was edited and doesn’t say that now
It says current items in the Yeezy Gap pipeline will still release though according to gap and that items won’t disappear from stores
